Safety & Trust
Safety is central to this community. Our goal is to create connections that feel supportive, respectful, and secure for everyone involved.
To help build trust between families, we take a thoughtful, layered approach to safety:
References: Families offering ongoing support are asked to provide 2–3 personal references who can speak to their reliability, boundaries, and experience around children.
Background checks: We offer optional background checks through a third-party provider. Participation is voluntary and handled directly by the service to protect privacy.
Intentional matching: We consider comfort preferences, schedules, and family needs when making introductions.
Choice and consent: All connections are optional. Families decide how and when to connect and may step back at any time.
Low-pressure engagement: This is not formal childcare or foster care. Support is flexible, relational, and based on mutual agreement.
We encourage families to start slowly, communicate openly, and trust their instincts. Our role is to help make introductions and support thoughtful matching — not to replace personal judgment or relationships.
